Area Sales Manager – CEE & Central Asia
(sales specialist in agriculture, cattle or farming)

Position description:
In this position you are solely responsible for the business development and sales to customers in the Eastern Europe Region (CEE) and Central Asia Region (e.g. Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and other CIS countries) . You will have your focus on existing customers and will be dedicated in searching for new customers in local cattle markets. CRV local strategy is rapidly evolving, making it an exciting and challenging time to operate in these markets in close cooperation with local sales & breeding partners. You will work also closely together with your export colleagues in the Netherlands.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- you are responsible for sales and margin results on account/distributor level.
- you are developing long term sales plans according to budget.
- you develop and maintain long term relationships with your local customers
- on the basis of existing or new business contacts you will initiate and develop sales activities based on the international strategy
- you are planning and are committed to budgeted resources based on a local cost-benefit analyses.
- you are signalling trends and opportunities at customer level as input for new business activities
- 30-50 % of your time you will be traveling throughout the region.
- you are participating in international trade fairs.
- you will organise local product training for distributors and/or customers.
- You enjoy to join local partners on their local sales visits to local cattle farmers.

Requirements needed for this position:
- minimum a higher level education preferably with an agricultural focus and or agricultural background.
- you have a solid (minimum of 3 years) of an (international) commercial background in agricultural, veterinary expertise or ranching/(dairy)cattle business, preferably in Eastern European countries.
- excellent knowledge of English and understanding local cultures.

Additional information:
- remuneration package is in line with the requirements for this position, including bonus and
personal training.
- the Area Sales Manager reports to the Global Director Sales.
- position is based as native in a local (EU based) market (home office) or in The Netherlands (Arnhem) but only if existing labor licence is already available for the Dutch market.
