For our client, Bio4pack GmbH, a German based subsidiary of TIPA Compostable Packaging, we are looking for an Italian based key account manager. Bio4Pack is a leading company in the development and manufacturing of sustainable packaging solutions for consumer products and consumables, that has minimal impact on the environment and that minimises the use of fossil fuels. Bio4 Pack develops and sells custom-made packaging concepts for B2B customers active in the food processing industry.The head office of Bio4pack is located in Germany. For developing further local growth in Italy (and other Southern European countries as well), we are looking for an experienced commercial entrepreneur, who will maintain good customer relationships in the market for packaging solutions.


Key Account Manager Italy (m/f)

This Position:
In this position the key account manager is solely responsible for the business development and sales to customers in Italy. He/she will have the focus on existing customers and will be dedicated in searching for new customers. Bio4 Pack ‘s strategy is rapidly evolving internationally, using the worldwide business contacts of TIPA and therefore making this job an exciting and challenging one. You are located preferably in the Northern Region of Italy, using your own home office and working closely together with your colleagues in Germany or elsewhere.


Your tasks and responsibilities:
- responsible for the sales and margin results of Bio4Pack in the Region.
- develop and execute sales plans for existing customers and new accounts for
   sustainable packaging solutions, mainly in the food processing industry.
- develop and maintain long term relationships with your customers.
- you are committed to locally budgeted resources.
- you signal market trends and opportunities as an input for new business activities.
- minimum 50% of your time you will be traveling to local customers.
- participate in international trade fairs.


Position requirements:
- minimum a bachelor education preferably with an commercial background.
- minimum of 5 years account management sales experience in the Italian (food)
  packaging market (packaging materials or packaging machinery) .
- commercial b2b experience with local customers and major accounts.
- excellent knowledge of English is necessary.
- knowledge of any other language (e.g. German) is appreciated.

- the remuneration package is in line with the requirements for this position, including bonus
  and personal training on developing commercial skills.
- the key account manager Italy reports to the managing director of Bio4pack in Germany.
- this position is based in Italy using a home office and will be according to local employment
  conditions (either under an employment contract or on a fulltime freelance basis).
